Flood Impacts
- 16 - Widespread inundation flooding occurs in the residential yards and woodlands upstream and downstream from Old Stone Mountain Road. The water level will be around 5 feet deep over the road and bridge and reach the bottom of the USGS gage house. County officials will have the road closed. Flood waters will be up to 10 feet deep in the backyards and flood several homes off East Gate Trail...East Gate Drive and Kings Crossing. A swimming pool near the bridge will be under 3 feet of flood water.
- 15 - Major flooding expands with widespread inundation of the residential yards and woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from Old Stone Mountain Road. The water level will be around 4 feet deep over the road and bridge. County officials will have them closed. Flood waters will be up to 9 feet deep in the backyards and begin to reach foundations of several homes off East Gate Trail...East Gate Drive and Kings Crossing. A swimming pool near the bridge will be under two feet of flood water.
- 13 - Major flooding continues with widespread inundation of the residential yards and woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at Old Stone Mountain Road. The water level will be around two feet deep over the road and bridge. County officials will have them closed. Flood waters will be from 1 to 7 feet deep in the backyards of several homes off East Gate Trail...East Gate Drive and Kings Crossing. A swimming pool near the bridge will begin to flood.
