National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 30 - Major flooding threatens the lowest residences in the flood plain, from the headwaters to the Arenosa Creek confluence, causing significant crop losses. Hundreds of livestock are isolated in the low pastureland areas. Numerous barns and farm outbuildings flood. Flooding approaches Highway 59 eastbound.
- 28 - Flooding of farm buildings in left flood plain occurs. Waters reaches the bridge railing on Highway 59.
- 26 - Major lowland flooding causes significant crop losses and isolates hundreds of livestock in the flood plain pastures. Many roads and bridges near the river flood, including the Highway 59 access road bridge floor and approaches.
