National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 17 - Major Flood Stage. Flood flows expand across floodplain on both sides of channel, with major roadway flooding and inundation of local businesses and homes.
- 15.6 - Moderate Flood Stage. Water has flooded left bank floodplain (north side of creek).
- 13 - Minor Flood Stage. Water in creek reaches bridge structure and begins backwatering at 7th Street. NWS will issue a Flash Flood Warning if not yet already issued.
