Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 16 - Widespread inundation flooding never seen before occurs in the woodlands and flood plain along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Lyle Field Road. The flowing water will likely have washed out the road and the concrete box culvert. The flood waters will be around 6 feet deep over portions of the road. The water level will reach the bottom of the USGS gage house which may cause transmission problems.
  • 13 - Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding occurs in the woodlands and flood plain along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Lyle Field Road. The flowing water will likely be causing significant erosion damage to the road over the concrete box culvert. The flood waters will be around 3 feet deep over portions of the road.
  • 12 - Significant flooding continues to expand further into the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Lyle Field Road. The flooding affects the extensive flood plain on the left side of the creek. The flowing water will be hitting the roadbed over the concrete box culvert and likely cause erosion damage. The flood waters will be around two feet deep over portions of the road. County officials should have the road closed.
