National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 3.07 - Flooding covers Fort Pickens Road and most of Highway 399 through the Gulf Islands National Seashore significantly enough that the road is impassable and closed, and often damaged.
- 2.77 - Portions of Gulf Blvd on the west end of Navarre Beach becomes flooded. Several roads in low lying portions of Escambia County can be closed due to minor flooding.
- 2.6 - Significant amount of water across portions of Highway 399 through the Gulf Island National Seashore, particularly betweens Fort Pickens and Opal Beach.
