National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 17 - Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding never seen before occurs in the woodlands...fields and pastures upstream and downstream from the gage on County Line Road. The water level will be at least 2 feet deep over the top of the bridge and up to 3 feet deep over the road. The bridge may become washed out.
- 15 - Significant flooding expands further into the woodlands...fields and pastures upstream and downstream from the gage on County Line Road. The water level will top the bridge causing it to act like a dam. Erosion will likely occur to the sides of the bridge and county officials will have it closed. The water will be around one foot deep over the road.
- 14 - Significant flooding continues to expand further into the woodlands...fields and pastures upstream and downstream from the gage on County Line Road. The water level hits the bridge causing it to act like a dam. Erosion may occur to the sides of the bridge and county officials will likely have it closed. The water level will begin to flow over the road in low areas.
