Flood Impacts
- 11.5 - Major flooding along Pogues Run in the Cottage Home Neighborhood begins to spread to downtown Indianapolis at this level and higher. Pogues Run goes underground just north of New York Street and the carrying capacity of the tunnel is reached or soon will be reached. Serious, widespread flooding will occur in downtown Indianapolis as flood levels rise.
- 11 - Major flooding is occurring in the Vermont Street area near downtown Indianapolis. Some city streets are flooded by 1 to 2 feet of water. Residential and business areas flood in the Cottage Home Neighborhood.
- 10 - Significant flooding in progress along Pogues Run in the Vermont Street area near downtown Indianapolis. City streets are impassable and some residential and business areas may flood in the Cottage Home Neighborhood.
