National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 18.5 - Water will be reaching the bottom of the Highway 12 bridge. Water will be flowing over portions of The Lane. Residences along the south side of the river will be impacted.
- 16.5 - Water will begin to over top the berm on the right bank (south side) and impact residences. Water will begin to impact commercial land on the left bank (north side) of the river. Low spots on The Lane may be impacted. Low spots on the north side of Highway 12 may see flooding.
- 15 - Water will flow into the side drainage ditches and into some of the overbank areas near Highway 12. Highway 12 will not be impacted unless there is backflow along the northern side of the highway.
