Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 19 - Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding will continue to expand further into the woodlands and yards upstream and much further downstream to north Decatur and Emory University. The water level will begin to cover Casa Drive at the bridge...and will enter numerous homes near the creek. Extensive erosion of creek banks and roads near bridges will likely cause washouts.
  • 15 - Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding will continue to expand further into the woodlands and yards upstream and much further downstream from the gage on Casa Drive to north Decatur and Emory University. The water level will reach the foundations of some homes on Casa Woods Lane and Casa Drive. Flooding of sheds and garages near the creek will be several feet deep.
  • 12 - Minor flooding will continue to expand further into the woodlands and yards upstream and downstream from the gage on Casa Drive. Some flooding of sheds and garages near the creek will occur at homes on Casa Woods Lane and Casa Drive.
