Flood Impacts
- 14 - The reservoir behind Olmos dam fills up and causes long lasting travel impacts near the Quarry Market, including the closure of Highway 281. Major residential flooding occurs in the headwaters of Olmos Creek above Loop 410. Over a foot of water is in lowest businesses in the southwest quadrant of Loop 410 and West Avenue. Many streets and low water crossings will have several feet of turbulent flow over them.
