National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 20 - Major flooding continues of the Northwood Country Club Golf Course upstream from Club Drive...and in the woodland areas downstream through the merging with the Yellow River. The water level begins to flood portions of Club Drive near the bridge and will likely washout the banks and road on either side of the bridge. The USGS monitoring station will be under one foot of water and alternative measuring will be necessary. Yards of homes near the creek will be completely flooded with water entering houses.
- 19 - Major flooding begins with widespread inundation of the Northwood Country Club Golf Course upstream from the gage on Club Drive...and in the woodland areas downstream through the merging with the Yellow River. The water level begins to flood portions of Club Drive near the bridge and will likely washout the banks and road near the bridge. The water will also reach the bottom of the USGS monitoring station. Yards of homes near the creek will be completely flooded with water entering some houses.
- 17 - Significant flooding continues to expand further into the Northwood Country Club Golf Course upstream from the gage on Club Drive...and in the woodland areas downstream from the gage...and for the next four miles until the creek merges with the Yellow River. The water level reaches the bottom of the bridge on Club Drive and erosion of the banks near the bridge will occur. Backyards of homes near the creek will be flooded.
