National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 21 - Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding occurs in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at Eastin Road. Flood waters will top the bridge and large portions of Veterans Parkway and Eastin Road will be flooded up to two feet deep.
- 20 - Significant flooding continues to expand further into the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at Eastin Road. The water level continues to hit the bridge and county officials will close it. Large portions of Veterans Parkway and Eastin Road will be flooded up to one foot deep.
- 18 - Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding occurs in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at Eastin Road. The flood waters top a pond on the upstream and left bank side of the road. The water level reaches the bottom of the bridge and county officials may need to close it. Lower portions of Veterans Parkway near Eastin Road and just downstream from the bridge will begin to flood.
