National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 16 - Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding occurs in the woodlands and fields upstream and downstream from the gage on Beaver Road. An outbuilding downstream and on the right bank from the bridge will be flooded up to 5 feet deep. The water level will be 3 feet over the bridge causing erosion. County officials will have it closed. The USGS gage house will be under 5 feet of water with the loss of data transmission.
- 15 - Significant flooding expands further into the woodlands and fields near the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Beaver Road. An outbuilding downstream and on the right bank from the bridge will be flooded up to 4 feet deep. The water level will be two feet over the bridge causing erosion. County officials will have it closed. The USGS gage house will be under 4 feet of water with loss of data transmission likely.
- 13 - Significant flooding expands into the woodlands and fields near the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Beaver Road. An outbuilding downstream and on the right bank from the bridge will be flooded up to two feet deep. The water level will be topping the bridge which may cause erosion. County officials will likely have it closed. The USGS gage house will be under two feet of water.
