Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 18 - Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding occurs in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 282 or Tails Creek Road. The log cabin on the left bank and upstream side of the bridge will likely be washed away. Rapid flowing water will cause extremely dangerous erosion conditions to the banks and should not be crossed.
  • 15 - Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding occurs in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 282 or Tails Creek Road. The log cabin on the left bank and upstream side of the bridge will be flooded and possibly washed away. Rapid flowing water will cause dangerous erosion conditions to the banks and should not be crossed.
  • 12 - Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding begins in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 282 or Tails Creek Road. The log cabin on the left bank and upstream side of the bridge will begin to flood. Rapid flowing water will cause erosion conditions to the banks and should not be crossed.
