17 Major flooding expands with widespread inundation of resdential yards and roads upstream and downstream of the gage. Flood waters will flow over the top of the road bed around four feet above the culvert and erosion will be likely. Portions of Hollywood Road near Spring Street will be under about one foot of water. Flood waters will be five feet deep in the structures just upstream of the gage. Water will reach the bottom of the USGS gage house. A loss of data transmission will be possible.
16 Major flooding begins. Extensive flooding occurs upstream and downstream of the gage and flood waters begin to inundate portions of Hollywood Road near Spring Street. Maximum flow will be passing through the concrete box culvert under the road. Flood waters will flow over the top of road bed around three feet above the culvert and erosion will be likely on the embankments on the south side of the road. Flood waters will be four feet deep in the structures just upstream of the gage.
15 Significant flooding expands upstream and downstream of the gage on Spring Street. Maximum flow will be passing through the concrete box culvert under the road. Flood waters will flow over the top of road bed around two feet above the culvert and erosion may occur on the embankments on the south side of the road. Low lying portions of the road will be flooded with around one foot of water. Flood waters will be around three feet deep in structures just upstream of the gage.
14 Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding continues to expand upstream and downstream of the gage. A home upstream of the gage will be flooded with two feet of water. A good portion of Spring Street between Hollywood Road and First Street will be flooded. Maximum flow will be passing through the concrete box culvert under the road.
