ALERT: December 13th update on the status of the nationwide data transmission error preventing stream gauge data collected at affected locations from being displayed on the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Services (AHPS) webpages. As of 11/08/2018, The USGS has restored all impacted operational stream gauges to transmitting status. The status map of gauge outages from other agencies is here. This will be the last outage map posted as over 95% of the gauge outages have been restored. Local NWS offices will continue to monitor the remaining gauge outages.

The Swift Atlanta Company building and some of the structures on Sharon Industrial Way are flooded. Portions of the U S Highway 23 or Buford Highway near the bridge begin to flood.

The Suwanee Creek Greenway...Suwanee Creek Road near the Bennett Creek bridge and yards off Bend Creek Trail and Mill Creek Run are flooded. The water reaches the bottom of the U S Highway 23 or Buford Highway bridge.

Low portions of the parking lot behind the Swift Atlanta Company begin to flood. Portions of Suwanee Creek Road near the Bennett Creek bridge and the yards off Bend Creek Trail and Mill Creek Run are flooded. The playground behind the Suwanee Elementary School will be flooded. Portions of Martin Farm Road near the bridge will begin to flood.
11 Moderate begins in the Suwanee Creek Park...Martin Farm Park and George Pierce Park. The Suwanee Creek Greenway is flooded with 1 to 3 feet of water. Water reaches the Swift Atlanta Company parking lot. Portions of the Suwanee Creek Road flood near the Bennett Creek bridge. Flooding expands into the yards off Bend Creek Trail and Mill Creek Run. A large portion of the playground behind the Suwanee Elementary School will be flooded. The water level will reach the bottom of the Martin Farm Road bridge.
10 Minor flooding expands further into the flood plain from Suwanee Creek Park through Martin Farm Park to George Pierce Park. The Suwanee Creek Greenway and trails are completely flooded with the water approaching the Swift Atlanta Company parking lot. Suwanee Creek Road begins to flood in low areas near Bennett Creek Bridge. In addition...yards begin to flood off Bend Creek Trail and Mill Creek Run. Portions of the playground behind the Suwanee Elementary School will be flooded.
9 Minor flooding expands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at U S Highway 23 or Buford Highway. Most of the Suwanee Creek Greenway and trails are flooded from the Suwanee Creek Park to George Pierce Park. The minor flooding will also begin to affect portions of the playground area behind the Suwanee Elementary School.
8 Flood Stage is reached. Minor flooding begins along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at U S Highway 23 or Buford Highway. Portions of the Suwanee Creek Park off of Suwanee Creek Trail begin to flood to Martin Farm Road. This will also include areas behind the Suwanee Elementary School and the George Pierce Park.
7 Bankfull conditions are reached along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at U S Highway 23 or Buford Highway. Portions of the Suwanee Creek Greenway and trails in the park to Martin Farm Road begin to flood. This will also include the low lying areas behind the Suwanee Elementary School and the George Pierce Park.
6 Bankfull conditions are reached along the creek behind the Suwanee Elementary School and George Pierce Park. Portions of the Suwanee Creek Greenway in this area will begin to flood.
