29 Record flooding occurs with widespread inundation flooding of the woodlands and large portions of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area upstream and downstream from the gage on Cobb Parkway. The flood waters will be around 14 feet deep over portions of the access road to the recreation area. Portions of the parking lot will be under 11 feet of water. The restrooms at the recreation area will be flooded 9 feet deep with only the roof exposed. This will be worse than the September 2009 flood event.
