Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 12.96 - A record crest was set on June 12th 2010 after the failure of Bredthauer Dam. The northern half of the town of North Loup was inundated by flood waters from the Mira Creek. Highway 11 was also covered by flood water.
  • 12 - There is significant flooding along the Mira Creek and numerous homes on the north side of the town of North Loup along and north of Highway 11 will flood. In addition, highway 11 will be covered by flood water.
  • 11 - There is significant flooding of low lying areas along the Mira Creek and several homes along the north side of the town of North Loup will begin to flood.
  • 9 - Minor flooding occurs in low spots along the Mira Creek.
