8 HOMES ALONG THE ROCKY BROAD RIVER WILL BEGIN TO FLOOD AND CAMPGROUNDS ALONG THE RIVER WILL ALSO FLOOD.8FT = 1461.04 FT ELEVATION
7.5 FLOOD STAGE= 1460.54 FT ELEVATION. HOMES AND CAMPGROUNDS NEAR GAGE WILL BEGIN TO FLOOD.
6.5 AT THIS LEVEL SOME CAMPGROUNDS BELOW BAT CAVE IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY NEAR LAKE LURE MAY BE EVACUATED...MAINLY AS A PRECAUTION
6 BANKFULL STAGE = 1459.54 FT ELEVATION. WATER WILL START TO APPROACH CAMPGROUNDS ALONG THE ROCKY BROAD RIVER IN THE CHIMNEY ROCK/HICKORY GROVE AREAS.
2 2 INCHES IN ONE HOUR OR 2 HOURS IS A TRIGGER POINT FOR EMA TO START MOVING PEOPLE OUT OF RIVER AND CAMPGROUNDS. A GENERAL WIDE SPREAD RAIN OF 1.5 TO 2.5 INCHES TOOK THE ROCKY BROAD RIVER TO 5.0 FT. RECOMMEND A FLOOD ADVISORY.. GENERALLY NEED 2.5 TO 3 INCH AT BAT CAVE AND EITHER BWMN7 OR SLMN7 TO CAUSE FLOODING ALONG ROCKY RIVER.
1.5 1.5 INCH IN 4 HOURS TOOK THE RIVER UP ONE FT.
