110 MAJOR FLOODING BEGINS. HOMES AND BRIDGES DOWNSTREAM, AND IN VICINITY OF THE DAM, COULD BE AFFECTED.
105 Moderate Flood Stage. Significant flooding of lake access areas and docks is ongoing. Flooding of Lake Dr. and Riverside Dr. below the lake is possible. Significant flooding of residential yards along Riverside Dr. below the lake is occurring, and several homes are likely to be impacted by floodwaters. The Nivens Cove community along Mountain Island Lake may be impacted as well as Fox Ridge Ln. near the Stonewater Bay community.
104 Minor Flooding continues. Significant flooding of lake access areas and docks is ongoing. Flooding of Lake Dr. and Riverside Dr. below the lake is possible. Significant flooding of residential yards along Riverside Dr. below the lake is occurring, and floodwaters may begin to impact up to 16 homes along Riverside Dr. The Nivens Cove community along Mountain Island Lake may be impacted as well as Fox Ridge Ln. near the Stonewater Bay community.
103 HOMES IN NIVENS COVE AREA (GASTON COUNTY SIDE) OF MT ISLAND LAKE JUST BELOW HIGHWAY 16 BRIDGE AND AT THE END OF FOX RIDGE ROAD IN THE STONEWATER BAY AREA WILL BE FLOODED.
102 AT THIS LEVEL MOST DOCKS AND YARDS WILL BE FLOODED. ROADS TO SEVERAL HOMES WILL BE CUT OFF OR CLOSED. LAKE DRIVE AND RIVERSIDE DRIVE JUST SOUTH OF DAM ON MECKLENBURG SIDE WILL BEGIN TO FLOOD. VOLUNTARY EVACUATIONS WILL BEGIN.
