Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 36 - Building on the extreme east side of Chanute may take on water up to 7 feet.
  • 35 - Highway 39 east of Chanute near the river bridge floods to a depth of about 1 foot and 3/4 of a mile long. Grady Road along the river which is northeast of Chanute floods. Considerable flooding occurs across old Highway 169.
  • 31 - A few isolated dwellings in the eastern outskirts of Chanute are subject to flooding.
