National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 5.5 - Moderate Flooding: If Calero Reservoir is full and spilling, widespread flooding will occur around the Creek and in the McKean Road area
- 5 - Minor Flooding: Homes along Calero Creek may experience flooding. Creek capacity is low and if Calero Reservoir is/will spill, action should be taken. Check Calero Reservoir elevation.
- 3 - Action Stage: Homes along Calero Creek might experience minor backyard flooding. If Calero Dam is not expected to spill, nothing further needs to be done.
