National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 9.51 - Major Flooding...If Saratoga Creek has substantial flows, overbanking will occur on the east bank between US-101 and Scott Blvd, bounded by the creek and San Tomas Expwy, inundating the office park.
- 9.5 - Major Flooding: San Tomas Expwy flooded, with water moving northward under the I-280 viaduct towards Homestead. Water sheet flows along roads towards Pruneridge Golf Course. Extensive flooding stemming from the daylighted culvert upstream of Homestead Rd. Areas east of Kiely Blvd and west of Scott Blvd are at risk. Floodwaters may continue to move northward, bounded by San Tomas and Scott Blvd, crossing the Caltraintracks toward US-101...
- 9 - Moderate Flooding: Spills upstream of Williams Road move toward the west and move northward along Boynton Ave, ponding along I-280. Worst flooding east of Boynton High School.
