8.5 Major Flooding: Sustained flooding would cause floodwaters to move NW towards Capitol and I-680, as well as SW towards McKee Rd. I-680 at risk of flooding under McKee and Alum Rock interchanges. Downstream of I-680, floodwaters move S towards Lower Silver Creek, and N following parallel to Coyote Crk, S of Lundy Ave. Water may move further N towards Milpitas, crossing Montague Expwy and following Capitol Ave towards I-880.
7.5 Moderate Flooding: Significant overbanking occurs on both sides of Upper Penitencia Creek throughout. Widespread flooding occurs, sheet flowing along roads to both the N and S, ponding against I-680.
6.5 Moderate Flooding: Flooding worsens along Penitencia Creek Rd with overbanking occurring at multiple locations, mostly spilling S upstream of Capitol Ave. The Commodore neighborhood experiences flooding. Neighborhood S of Educational Park Dr floods. Flea Market and surrounding area along Berryessa Crk at risk.
5.5 Minor Flooding: Neighborhood streets around Commodore Dr and Cape Horn Ct at risk, as well as flow onto Educational Park Dr. Overbanking begins to occur near Noble Ave along Penitencia Creek Rd.
4.5 Minor Flooding: Bridges and surrounding areas near Mabury Road, Educational Park Dr, and King Rd at risk.
3.5 Watch: Culvert debris can adversely affect capacity at Mabury Rd and Educational Park Dr.
