ALERT: December 13th update on the status of the nationwide data transmission error preventing stream gauge data collected at affected locations from being displayed on the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Services (AHPS) webpages. As of 11/08/2018, The USGS has restored all impacted operational stream gauges to transmitting status. The status map of gauge outages from other agencies is here. This will be the last outage map posted as over 95% of the gauge outages have been restored. Local NWS offices will continue to monitor the remaining gauge outages.

Cattle and other property should be relocated to places which are at least 6 feet higher than nearby river banks... to avoid being flooded or isolated for several hours by water in side channels.
