National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 29 - Forest Serivce cabins, the Chief Shakes hot springs site, and other private cabins along the river will be flooded with 3-4 ft of water.
- 28 - Water will begin to inundate some Forest Services cabins and near the Chief Shakes hot springs, the hot tub will begin to float.
- 27 - Water will be at the base of the Cheif Shakes hot springs site with 2-3 ft of water in the field in front.
