9 At 9.0 ft., major flooding will take place throughout the Cedar Hills Golf Course, any areas that the American Fork River flows through in the town of American Fork. The Utah County sewer plant will also be impacted.
8.69 At 8.7 ft., moderate flooding will impact Cedar Hills Golf Course adjacent to the mouth of American Fork Canyon. The areas in American Fork susceptible to damage include 100 N. 250 E., 400 N. and 400 E.. Both these areas are susceptible to debris jams in the underlying culverts. Additionally, depending on the amount of sediment at the debris basin near I-15, the sewer lift station may flood.
8.5 At 8.5 ft., minor flooding will occur near 100N 250E in American Fork. Flooding will occur at the Utah County Boat Harbor Road near Utah Lake and affect the sewer lift station. The area near 400 N. 400 E. may experience flooding if the river is filled with debris as double barrel culvert frequently becomes jammed overtopping the road.
