40 Water will be several feet deep across the old downtown area of Newton. Homes east of Church Street are vulnerable to flooding at this level.
36 Water will be up to 1 foot deep inside the courthouse.
35 Water will reach the entrance to the Courthouse.
33 Houses directly behind the courthouse will begin to flood.
32 Water up to 2 feet deep will surround the courthouse in Newton and the adjacent old downtown area.
31 Water will limit access to the old downtown area of Newton. Several road closures are necessary east of Pine Street. Two homes across from the courthouse will be surrounded by water.
30 Water will begin to flood several roads in the old downtown area of Newton on the west bank of the Flint River. Roads flooded include Main Street, Sunset Avenue, and Broad Avenue near the courthouse. These roads are also known as Old 91, Old 200, and Old 37, respectively.
28 In Newton, Water Street at Washington Avenue begin to flood. Water approaches Riverside Drive.
24 Minor lowland flooding begins.
