26.6 Record crest from the 1981 ice jam flood. Damage occurred to 950 structures, totalling 14.7 million dollars.
23.9 Flooding overtops the flood walls on the New York and Pennsylvania sides of the river. Widespread flooding occurs with significant damage throughout Port Jervis NY, Matamoras PA, and Montague Township NJ.
22 Low points along flood walls and the river banks are reached in Matamoras which contributes to a considerable amount of inundation in town. Low areas of Port Jervis flood.
21.5 This is the crest of the June 2006 flood. Flooding is extensive in Westfall Township, portions of Matamoras and Montague Township. Serious backwater flooding occurs near the confluence of the Neversink River near Port Jervis.
21 The river is bank full on the New York side. Riverside Park to West End Beach areas in Port Jervis will flood.
20.5 This is the level of the significant April 2005 flood.
20 Flooding worsens from Cemetery Road and Rose Lane, to Avenue R and 10th Street in Matamoras. Inundation increases around the plazas along U.S. Route 6 in Westfall. Flooding at the confluence of the Neversink River increases.
19.5 Inundation covers roads and parking lots near the Delaware Valley High School, Milford Senior Care facility, and the shopping plazas in Westfall Township. Several properties on the New Jersey side of the river begin to flood.
19 Properties along Rose Lane in Matamoras are impacted by flood waters. Backwater flooding affects property and basements on Avenue R.
18 Water begins to back up into the southwest side of Matamoras near Airport Park, 10th Street and Avenue S. The river may back up storm drains into portions of Port Jervis between Railroad Ave., and Water Street. The Neversink begins backing into neighborhoods when the Delaware reaches this stage.
16 Parts of Delaware Drive upstream of Matamoras begin to flood. Backwater starts to affect properties in Westfall Township along U.S. 6 from Delaware Valley High School to Home Depot.
15 Access Road to Mashipacong Island begins to take on water.
