1454 Water begins to flow over the emergency spillway known as the "Morning Glory" hole.
1453 By this approximate stage, all recreational boating on the reservoir has historically been restricted and traffic across the dam has been closed to authorized personnel only.

Jamestown Dam is owned and operated by the US Bureau of Reclamation. At elevation 1454 ft MSL, the pool reaches the "glory hole" and begins to spill.
