A record crest of 17.4 feet occurred on March 14th 2019 and flooded much of Gibbon both north and south of Highway 30. Highway 30 will be under water and damage to the Gibbon area will be extensive. In addition, many rural homes and roads will be flooded.

Many homes and businesses in Gibbon will be flooded as was the case in the record flood of March 14th 2019.

The north side of Gibbon north of Highway 30 will begin to flood with water cutting off access to some homes and the flood water will begin to reach Highway 30 resulting in a likely closure of Highway 30 near Gibbon.

Lowland flooding becomes more widespread as water nears the bottom of the bridge.
