24 Major flooding occurs in Middletown. Levees protecting the city are topped. Widespread major flooding also occurs near Excello and areas of Trenton near the river. Numerous homes and businesses are inundated.
22.5 This flood would equal that of the 1913 record flood. While the City of Middletown is protected to a stage of 24 feet with levees and flood gates, widespread flooding along the river outside of Middletown protection occurs.
18 Route 73 is closed due to high water. Property near Route 73 outside of Trenton experiences flooding. The City of Middletown is protected by levees and flood gates to a stage of 24 feet.
16 Additional flooding of property near the river occurs, especially south of Middletown near Excello. Several homes and businesses in this area are flooded. The City of Middletown is protected by levees and flood gates to a level of 24 feet.
14 Water further inundates properties near Route 73 from the east side of the river to Excello. Several homes and businesses become inundated. The City of Middletown itself is protected by flood walls and levees to a stage of 24 feet.
12 Water approaches structures south of Route 73 between Excello and the Great Miami River. This includes properties along Oxford Street.
11 Water covers some private property areas along either side of Route 73 from the east side of the river approaching Excello. The City of Middletown is protected by levees and floodgates to a level of 24 feet.
