27 Probable highest reliable reading from gage site.
26 Approximate low steel elevation of Logan Street Bridge. At this point, the bridge begins to act as a dam and the river readings from the gage may not be accurate. According to county surveyor, low steel of Logan Street Bridge is 26.05 feet.
24.2 Record flood is in progress. Flood waters cause numerous evacuations and considerable damage to roads, businesses, and private homes.
24 Severe flooding is in progress in Riverwood/Clare areas. Flooding begins at Strawtown. Flooding begins of commercial and residential property near SR 32 in western Noblesville and a few residences just north and west of Noblesville.
23 Flooding of commercial district on south side of Noblesville begins. Extensive flooding continues along East 96th, 116th, 122nd, 126th, and 146th Streets in Hamilton County. Many evacuations are necessary. Flooding of southwest Noblesville west of 4th Street. Noblesville Wastewater Treatment Plant is underwater. East 116th Street, River Road, and many local roads in Hamilton County near White River are underwater.
22 White is at or near major flood level in Hamilton County. Numerous evacuations have occurred in the Riverwood/Clare areas. Severe flooding is along East 9th, 116th, 122nd, 126th and 146th Streets. High water threatens the Noblesville Wastewater Treatment Plant. River Road, Allisonville Road, SR 19 and many local roads near the White Road are flooded by more than a foot of water. High water is approaching East 116th Street.
21.3 Many evacuations are necessary in Riverwood/Clare areas, Trails End area at East 116th Street, and at East 146th Street. Flooding begins to affect East 96th Street area. Flooding threatens Noblesville Wastewater Treatment Plant.
21 In western Noblesville, high water surrounds commercial property along SR 32. Evacuation of some residences is required. Flooding begins in southwest Noblesville west of 3rd Street. Many sections of River Road in Hamilton County are impassable.
20 Residences in western Noblesville near SR 32 begin to flood. Residential areas in Riverwood and near E 146th and E 116th Streets have water in their basements or crawl spaces.
19.5 Allisonville Road and E 146th Street just south of Noblesville begins to flood. Residences and business on northwest side of E 146th Street begin to flood.
19 Flooding becomes more serious in the Riverwood, Clare, and Trails End areas. Flooding of basements occurs with water possibly extending to the first floor. State Road 19 begins to flood. Many local roads in these areas are impassable and some evacuations are necessary.
18.5 Water begins to flood Strawtown Avenue one mile northwest of Strawtown.
17.5 The Home for Friendless Animals kennel on River Avenue in southern Noblesville Township may have to evacuate animals.
17 Extensive flooding occurs in both Riverbend and White River campgrounds. High water affects two businesses near SR 19 on the west side of Noblesville. Roads in residential areas of Riverwood, Clare, and Strawtown begin to flood. Flooding of roads begins in residential areas of Trails End near E 116th Street, near East 146th Street, and in gravel pit areas along the White River from East 96th Street north to Noblesville.
16.2 Flooding begins in the Trails End area of E 116th Street. The lowest house in the area has one foot of water in its basement. Another resident has two feet of water in his garage. Flooding along River Road in rural Carmel. Some residents south of E 116th Street along River Drive East must park vehicles on high ground.
16 Extensive flooding begins in Riverwood area. Agricultural flooding is in progress as well as flooding of both the Riverbend and White River campgrounds.
14.5 Edith Avenue begins to flood near the Potter Bridge area. Flooding begins in residential areas along East 116th Street in the Trails End area, along East 146th Street, and SR 19 just north of SR 32.
14 Agricultural flooding is readily visible north and south of Noblesville.
12 Riverwood Avenue in Riverwood, Riverbend campground near Clare, and White River campground near Strawtown begin to flood.
11 Agricultural flooding begins in the lowest areas along the White River in Hamilton County. Flooding is north and south of Noblesville. Flooding begins in the Riverwood area north of Noblesville.
