21.8 At this height, the ties of the BNSF railroad tracks begin flooding.
21.4 Near this level, the lock is closed to navigation. This level will vary with circumstance. Also, BNSF railroad tracks just south of Hannibal are flooded.
15.5 An access road to riverside raised homes on the riverward side of the Sny levee begins to flood near this level.
13.5 This is the upper navigational limit for the pool at Lock & Dam 22.
13.4 This is the target pool for navigation at Lock & Dam 22.
13 This is the lower navigational limit for the pool at Lock & Dam 22.
12 Buildings in unprotected areas are damaged. At this approximate stage, the Corps will lift all gates out of the river, creating "open river" conditions. This takes place at a discharge of around 160,000 cfs.
