20 A significant flood is occurring. Numerous homes are flooded east of Martinsburg. The worst flooding is south of the railroad bridge. To the north of that railroad bridge, flooding is causing less of an impact due to the regulation of flow caused by the railroad line.
15 Water reaches homes on Douglas Grove Road, and may be near a home on Abbie Lane. Hundreds of acres of fields are flooded near the creek. Blairton Road begins to flood, and numerous other roads are already flooded and closed.
12.5 The creek is well out of its banks with lowlands nearby flooded. Golf Course Road /County Road 36/ is flooded near the Van Metre Ford Pedestrian Bridge. Fields and backyards near the creek are flooded and some residents may need to move items to higher ground. Several other roads are flooded, including Grapevine Road, Douglas Grove Road, and Paynes Ford Road. Backwater flooding is occurring on small tributaries, including Tuscarora Creek.
11 Water begins to cover backyards of homes on Bowers Road (County Road 1/1). Douglas Grove Road (County Road 9/16) is flooded and impassible. Water also approaches Golf Course Road (County Road 36) and Grapevine Road (County Road 9/14).
10 Floodwaters begin to cover Douglas Grove Road (County Road 9/16) east of Martinsburg. A portion of Bowers Road is also flooded. Low lying areas near the creek begin to flood. Water also begins to cover the stream access point at the Van Metre Ford Pedestrian Bridge.
9 The creek begins to overflow its banks in a few spots. Water approaches Bowers Road at the low spot near the creek.
