1450 The level at which the reservoir begins to spill. The emergency spillway is an ungated, excavated channel located along the reservoir rim. Discharge through the emergency spillway is uncontrolled and intended to prevent overtopping and catastrophic failure of the dam during a high-water event. Significant flooding can occur during spillway flow. Please pay attention to your local authorities.
