22 Flooding will approach the weight scales on I-10 west of the Stennis Space Center interchange. Flooding will extend east to Mississippi Highway 604. Low-lying areas of Pearlington MS will flood. The southwest corner of Stennis Space Center west of Mississippi Highway 607 will flood. Major flooding will occur below 14 feet mean sea level along and east of Military Road from the I-59 interchange south to Highway 190. Water will cover portions of I-10 east of Slidell and the roadway may be closed.
21.05 Flood of Record occurred on April 9, 1983.
21 Flooding will extend east to Mississippi Highway 604. Low lying areas of Pearlington, MS will flood. The southwest corner of Stennis Space Center west of Mississippi Highway 607 will flood. Major flooding will occur below 14 feet mean sea level along and east of Military Road from the I-59 interchange south to Highway 190. Water will cover portions of I-10 east of Slidell and the roadway may be closed.
20 Water will cover portions of I-10 east of Slidell. Sections of subdivisions along Military Road south of I-10 at elevations below 11 feet MSL will flood. There will be major flooding of River Gardens and moderate flooding of lower portions in Magnolia Forest Subdivisions. The Indian Village Road access to River Oaks Subdivision will be under water at several places.
19 There will be major flooding of River Gardens and moderate flooding of lower portions in Magnolia Forest Subdivisions. Subdivisions south of I-10 and east of Military Road will be threatened with flooding. The Indian Village Road access to River Oaks Subdivision will be under water at several places.
18 River Gardens Subdivision will be moderately flooded with several streets impassable and a few homes flooded in the vicinity of Gum Bayou. A few homes will also be threatened in Magnolia Forest. Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp will remain inundated.
17 Improved roads near the river will be covered with low water. Gum Bayou will back up flooding the lower portions of streets in River Garden Subdivision. Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp will remain inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank.
17 When the river is falling, water on low lying property and over the lower portions of streets in River Gardens Subdivision will slowly begin to drain.
16 Lower portions of streets in River Gardens Subdivision will begin to flood. Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp will remain inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank. The Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge will be closed to hunting at the 15.5 foot stage.
