191 Expect flooding of numerous camps, some homes, and several roadways nearby the lake. Also some homes will be flooded and homeowners should make preparations for significant flooding.
187.5 Expect flooding of some camps. Also boats should be moved from boathouses to aviod boat damage due to rising water. Some secondary roadways will also be flooded and travel around the lake will be difficult.

During periods of possible very heavy rainfall, river forecasts may take into account precipitation amounts expected 30, 36, or even 48 hours into the future from the forecast issuance time. Lake Claiborne is owned and maintained by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Gage zero datum is 176.00 feet.
