30 Devastating flooding similar to Hurricane Floyd. Numerous homes adjacent to the river in the city of Greenville will be inundated. All roads in and around Greenville become flooded and are impassable. Tributaries will back up and flood homes, businesses, and roads areas miles away from the river.
24 Widespread flooding for all areas adjacent to the river and tributaries. Water will flood the Pitt-Greenville Airport and terminal. Many homes and apartments north of 1st St. in Greenville will flood. Some major roads around the city of Greenville will become impassable.
22 Water will overflow into the city of Greenville. Several secondary roads will also flood. Some homes along the river will flood. Water will flood many student housing developments along the south side of the river. Homes and businesses will be inundated along Mumford Rd. Numerous tributaries will flood roads miles from the river.
20 Water will flood several homes near the river. Water will begin to flood town commons and adjacent areas in the city of Greenville. Many acres of farmland flooded.
19 Secondary roads adjacent to the river will flood. Water will begin to inundate portions of Pitt-Greenville Airport. Water will reach a few homes near the river. Many acres of farmland, and much of River Park North flooded. River Drive, in Greenville, begins to flood along with Riverwalk Townhomes.
17 Water will begin to flood some secondary roads near the river. Flooding will continue for low lands adjacent to the river. Residents who live in flood prone areas near the river should begin to move property to higher ground.
16 Widespread low land flooding adjacent to the river. Some farmland will begin to flood across Pitt County.
13 Minor flooding of low lying areas adjacent to the river can be expected.
