17 Significant flooding of the town of Washington along with major flooding of Whichards Beach and all surrounding areas. Evacuations may be needed especially in the Whichards Beach area where numerous residences and roads will flood.
11 Major flooding will occur in the town of Washington. Flood waters will reach up to the intersection of Market and Second Street. Many businesses and homes will flood in Washington. Widespread major flooding will occur all along the Pamlico River as well as along its tributaries. Many evacuations will be needed.
8 Flooding in and around the town of Washington and in the Whichards Beach area. Water will flood up to Main Street in the town of Washington. Numerous residences in Whichards Beach, Portside and Bayside Shores will flood.
4.5 Both the Pamlico River and Chocowinity Bay begin to flood the Twin Lakes Campground as well as Bayside Shores and Portside. Water will reach homes in Bayside Shores and access to locations in and around Whichards Beach will be cut off by flood waters. Minor flooding begins in the town of Washington. Flooding south of River Road on Swan Point Road, Shady Banks Road, Summer Haven Road, Griffins Beach Road, and River Acres Road.
4 Water backs up Rodmand Creek and begin to flood Whichards Beach Road. This road is the only access into Whichards Beach and surrounding areas such as Twin Lakes, Portside and Bayside Shores. Roads in Bayside Shores also begin to flood.
